What we do on a call
Redline is built around repair work. We get on site, put gauges on the system, check airflow and amperage, and identify the fault before anything comes apart.
If it is a dirty coil or a clogged filter, that is what we will tell you. Those two things cause a large share of the cooling complaints we see, and neither one needs a part.
When a component does need replacing, we show you the failed part and explain why it failed. You can decide with the equipment open.
On every maintenance visit
- Condenser coil rinsed and fins combed straight
- Evaporator coil cleaned and drain pan cleared
- Filter replaced, filter rack wiped down
- Blower motor and capacitor checked under load
- Refrigerant charge verified with gauges
- Condensate drain flushed end to end
- Contactor and wiring terminals checked for heat
- Thermostat operation confirmed with homeowner
